Founding Board of Directors (FBOD) and Executive Committee (FEC)
The International Scientific Committee (ISC) of the CCC 2006 meeting, Bethesda, MD (USA), charged as Chair of the Founding Board of Directors (FBOD, Founding Board), Guido Pauli, PhD (Chicago, IL). He was appointed to recruit the Founding Board of Directors from members of the ISC and other individuals attending previous CCC 20xx conferences.
For the purpose of initializing the Network's business, the Chair of the Founding Board appointed two executives to complete the board. Ian Sutherland, Ph.D., was appointed as Secretary and Alain Berthod, Ph.D., as Treasurer. The board members represent regions or continents, and their appointment considers the location pattern of practitioners of counter-current methodology. The Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer will comprise the Founding Executive Committee (FEC) of the Founding Board of Directors. The FEC has appointed six individuals to serve as ambassadors (hubs) in task-specific workgroups of the INCCC network. FEC (Function) [represented countries]
